EU Blue Card
For qualified roles above a minimum salary threshold. Not subject to annual quotas and leads to mobility within the EU.

Ordinary work permit
Under the annual quota system (Decreto Flussi, 2026–2028 planning). Timing depends on quota windows.
The process

- Work authorizationWe file the nulla osta with the Immigration Office (Sportello Unico).
- VisaThe employee applies at the Italian consulate in their country.
- ArrivalResidence permit, tax code, registration with the health service.
